Kostanjevica na Krasu 2a (2023) is the artist's diploma graduation project, where she uses photography as a tool of memory through a series of photographs of her family house.

Photography, like memory, subjectively records personal experiences and changes over time. In the series, the artist develops a visual approach to record her own subjective images of memory. She does this by disturbing the pictorial surface: from the choice of motifs - objects on which time leaves its traces, detailed and fragmented framing, dipping film negatives in various chemicals, the use of liquid emulsion and paper with texture, to the use of (at times) illegible writing and drawing.

The last photograph in the series shows a tattoo that the artist made when she was a teenager - the address of her family house and, consequently, the title of the photographic series.

This series was created as part of the artist diploma at VIST - Faculty of Applied Sciences under the mentorship of Jošt Franko and, with technical assistance from Peter Fettich.
